DEVICE AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING INFORMATION FLOW USING META-CONTEXT TRANSFER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240160277 titled 'DEVICE AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING INFORMATION FLOW USING META-CONTEXT TRANSFER

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a method for controlling an electronic device to transfer context from a virtual session to an external environment. Here is a simplified explanation of the abstract:

  • Detect at least one user in a virtual session
  • Obtain the context of virtual device content present in the session
  • Obtain user interest related to the virtual device content using user input
  • Obtain correlation information between user interest and content capabilities of real-world user devices
  • Provide a real-world user device to transfer the context of virtual device content based on the correlation information

Original Abstract Submitted

a method of controlling an electronic device for enabling a context transfer from a virtual session to an environment external to the virtual session, includes detecting at least one user in an a virtual session; based on detecting the at least one user, obtaining a context of at least one virtual device content present in the virtual session, based on detecting the at least one user; obtaining at least one user interest related with the at least one virtual device content using at least one user input in the virtual session; obtaining correlation information between the at least one user interest and at least one content capability of a plurality of real world user devices of the at least one user; and providing at least one real world user device, among the plurality of user devices, to the at least one user for transferring the context of the at least one virtual device content based on the correlation information.
