ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CAPTURING MOVING IMAGE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240214533 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CAPTURING MOVING IMAGE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

Simplified Explanation: This patent application describes an electronic device that captures video data using a camera, records reference data based on a schedule using a microphone, receives audio data corresponding to the video from another device wirelessly, and adjusts the schedule based on the comparison between the reference data and a portion of the audio data. The device then records new reference data based on the updated schedule, corrects any audio delays, and creates a video file with synchronized audio.

  • The electronic device captures video data with a camera.
  • It records reference data based on a schedule using a microphone.
  • Receives audio data corresponding to the video wirelessly from another device.
  • Adjusts the schedule based on the comparison between reference data and audio data.
  • Records new reference data based on the updated schedule.
  • Corrects audio delays.
  • Creates a video file with synchronized audio.

Potential Applications: This technology can be used in video recording devices, surveillance systems, video conferencing equipment, and any other devices that require synchronized audio and video data.

Problems Solved: This technology addresses the issue of audio-video synchronization in electronic devices, ensuring that the recorded audio matches the corresponding video accurately.

Benefits: The benefits of this technology include improved audio-video synchronization, enhanced user experience, and better quality video recordings.

Commercial Applications: This technology can be utilized in the development of video cameras, security systems, video editing software, and communication devices to enhance the overall user experience and quality of audio-visual content.

Questions about the Technology: 1. How does this technology improve the user experience of video recording devices? 2. What are the potential applications of this technology in surveillance systems?

Frequently Updated Research: There may be ongoing research in the field of audio-video synchronization and wireless communication technologies that could further enhance the capabilities of this patent application.

Original Abstract Submitted

an electronic device obtains first video data by using a camera, obtains first reference data depending on a first schedule during a first time duration by using a microphone, receives first audio data corresponding to the first video data from an external electronic device via a wireless communication circuit, and changes the first schedule to a second schedule based on a comparison result between the first reference data and a portion of the first audio data. the electronic device further obtains second reference data depending on the second schedule during a second time duration subsequent to the first time duration by using the microphone, corrects a delay of the first audio data based on the second reference data, and creates a moving image file based on the first video data and the corrected first audio data.
