Patent Applications by Salesforce, Inc.

20240241718. APPLICATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE TEMPLATE MANAGEMENT TO EASILY CREATE SECURE APPLICATIONS FOR ENTERPRISES_simplified_abstract_(salesforce, inc.)

Inventor(s): Mayank Kumar of Fremont CA (US) for salesforce, inc.

IPC Code(s): G06F8/71, G06F8/65, G06F9/54, G06F11/36, G06F21/57, G06F21/62

CPC Code(s): G06F8/71

Abstract: an extensible platform-as-a-service (paas) system is used during the software development lifecycle (sdlc) processes of an application. the system, according to various embodiments, receives indications that changes are made to one or more templates or software bundles stored in a software library and coordinates how changes to a particular template will be applied to applications for an enterprise system. specifically, the system may identify applications that are using the template and determine an ordering for a plurality of application groups that indicates a sequence in which the updates will be applied to the applications. in this manner, template updates can be automatically and systematically deployed to applications without significant involvement by users of the paas system.

20240241820. SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING AN AUTOMATED TESTING PIPELINE FOR NEURAL NETWORK MODELS_simplified_abstract_(salesforce, inc.)

Inventor(s): Shiva Kumar PENTYALA of Mountain View CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Shashank HARINATH of Mountain View CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Sitaram ASUR of Newark CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Zachary ALEXANDER of Berkeley CA (US) for salesforce, inc.

IPC Code(s): G06F11/36

CPC Code(s): G06F11/3688

Abstract: embodiments described herein provide an automated testing pipeline for providing a testing dataset for testing a trained neural network model trained using a first training dataset. a first testing dataset for the trained neural network including a first plurality of user queries is received. a dependency parser is used to filter the first plurality of user queries based on one or more action verbs. a pretrained language model is used to rank the remaining user queries based on respective relationships with queries in the first training dataset. further, user queries that are classified as keyword matches with the queries in the first training dataset using a bag of words classifier are removed. a second testing dataset is generated using the ranked remaining user queries. testing outputs are generated, by the trained neural network model, using the second testing dataset.

20240241866. Intelligent Service for Data Migration_simplified_abstract_(salesforce, inc.)

Inventor(s): Xinwei Jin of San Francisco CA (US) for salesforce, inc.

IPC Code(s): G06F16/21, G06F11/34

CPC Code(s): G06F16/214

Abstract: the disclosed techniques for generating a migration plan include identifying one or more entities that are eligible for data migration to a destination database from a source database. the techniques include generating, using planning procedures that include a workload balancing procedure, a data migration plan for the eligible entities and executing the migration plan. the workload procedure includes mapping, based on data metric values of the eligible entities, different ones of the eligible entities to instances in the destination database, where the mapping is performed based on utilization metric values of the instances, and where the instances are of a storage service that collectively implements the destination database. the workload balancing procedure includes altering the mappings of entities to instances in the destination database, where the remapping is based on a standard deviation of data for entities mapped to instances in the destination database not meeting a threshold standard deviation.

20240242022. SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STRUCTURED CONVERSATION SUMMARIZATION_simplified_abstract_(salesforce, inc.)

Inventor(s): Victor Yee of Oakland CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Chien-Sheng Wu of Mountain View CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Na Cheng of Yarrow Point WA (US) for salesforce, inc., Alexander R. Fabbri of New York NY (US) for salesforce, inc., Zachary Alexander of Berkeley CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Nicholas Feinig of San Francisco CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Sameer Abhinkar of San Francisco CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Shashank Harinath of Mountain View CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Sitaram Asur of Newark CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Jacob Nathaniel Huffman of San Francisco CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Wojciech Kryscinski of Palo Alto CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Caiming Xiong of Menlo Park CA (US) for salesforce, inc.

IPC Code(s): G06F40/174, G06F16/34

CPC Code(s): G06F40/174

Abstract: embodiments described herein provide a structured conversation summarization framework. a user interface may be provided which allows an agent to perform a conversation with a customer, for example regarding resolving a customer support issue. utterances by both the agent and customer may be stored, and at the end of the conversation, the utterances may be used to generate a structured summary. the structured summary may include components such as a general summary, an issue summary, and a resolution summary. using neural network models and heuristics, each component of the summary may be automatically generated.

20240244120. METHODS, APPARATUSES AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR MANAGING ORGANIZATION CONNECTIONS IN A GROUP-BASED COMMUNICATION SYSTEM_simplified_abstract_(salesforce, inc.)

Inventor(s): Christopher Sullivan of Wellesley MA (US) for salesforce, inc., Myles Grant of San Carlos CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Michael Demmer of San Francisco CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Shanan Delp of San Francisco CA (US) for salesforce, inc., Sri Vasamsetti of San Francisco CA (US) for salesforce, inc.

IPC Code(s): H04L67/60, G06F9/451, G06F16/23, G06F21/60

CPC Code(s): H04L67/60

Abstract: managing organization disconnections from a shared resource of a communication platform is described. in a sharing approval repository of a communication platform, a shared resource can be associated with a host organization identifier and a non-host organization identifier. in an example, in response to receiving, from a user computing device associated with the host organization identifier or the non-host organization identifier, a resource disconnection request comprising a disconnecting organization identifier and a resource identifier associated with the shared resource, the sharing approval repository can be updated to add a disconnection indication for the resource identifier in association with the disconnecting organization identifier. the disconnection indication can restrict access, of users of a disconnected organization, to data associated with the shared resource that is stored in a live shared resource repository and can cause a static shared resource to be presented based on a selection input corresponding to the shared resource.
