METHOD FOR MANAGING AN AUDIO AND/OR VIDEO CONFERENCE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240297937 titled 'METHOD FOR MANAGING AN AUDIO AND/OR VIDEO CONFERENCE

The abstract describes a method used during an audio and/or video conference where a first client terminal interacts with a conference server to manage audio data stream exchanges.

  • Obtaining a stream of tagged audio data by embedding a digital tag code.
  • Sending the stream of tagged audio data to the conference server.
  • Receiving audio capability data indicating if a second client terminal has detected the digital tag code.
  • Activating management actions of the conference based on the received audio capability data, such as reproducing information according to the detected tag.

Potential Applications: - Enhancing audio and video conference management. - Improving communication efficiency during conferences.

Problems Solved: - Streamlining audio data exchange processes. - Ensuring accurate detection of digital tag codes.

Benefits: - Enhanced conference management capabilities. - Improved user experience during audio and video conferences.

Commercial Applications: Title: "Advanced Audio and Video Conference Management System" This technology could be utilized in various industries for conducting remote meetings, virtual events, and online training sessions. It can benefit companies looking to enhance their communication infrastructure and streamline conference processes.

Original Abstract Submitted

a method implemented by a first client terminal during an audio and/or video conference in conjunction with a conference server that manages audio data stream exchanges is described. the method includes obtaining a stream of tagged audio data by embedding a digital tag code; sending the stream of tagged audio data to the conference server; receiving audio capability data representative of whether a second client terminal has detected the digital tag code in an audio data stream; and activating, based on the received audio capability data, at least one management action of the audio and/or video conference, including reproducing items of information according to the received audio capability data.
