PHYSICAL UPLINK SHARED CHANNEL TRANSMISSION - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240297762 titled 'PHYSICAL UPLINK SHARED CHANNEL TRANSMISSION

The patent application relates to an apparatus that receives instructions to interchange associations of coreset pool indices with sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets. The apparatus then transmits SRS transmissions and/or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions based on the interchanged associations.

  • The apparatus interchanges associations of coreset pool indices with SRS resource sets.
  • It transmits SRS transmissions and/or PUSCH transmissions based on the interchanged associations.
  • The interchanged associations improve the efficiency of resource allocation in wireless communication systems.

Potential Applications: This technology can be applied in 5G and future wireless communication systems to optimize resource allocation and improve system performance.

Problems Solved: This technology addresses the challenge of efficiently allocating resources in wireless communication systems with multiple coreset pool indices and SRS resource sets.

Benefits: - Enhanced resource allocation efficiency - Improved system performance in wireless communication - Optimized utilization of resources in 5G networks

Commercial Applications: This technology can be utilized by telecommunications companies, network operators, and equipment manufacturers to enhance the performance of 5G networks and future wireless communication systems.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the interchange of associations of coreset pool indices with SRS resource sets improve resource allocation efficiency in wireless communication systems? 2. What are the potential implications of this technology for 5G networks and future wireless communication systems?

Frequently Updated Research: Researchers are continuously exploring ways to optimize resource allocation and improve system performance in wireless communication systems, which may lead to further advancements in this technology.

Original Abstract Submitted

example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus receiving an instruction to perform interchanging of an association of coreset pool indices with sounding reference signal (srs) resource sets. the apparatus interchanges an association of a first coreset pool index with a first srs resource set of the srs resource sets and an association of a second coreset pool index with a second srs resource set of the srs resource sets to an association of the first coreset pool index with the second srs resource set and an association of the second coreset pool index with the first srs resource set. the apparatus transmits one or more srs transmissions associated with the first or second coreset pool index and/or a physical uplink shared channel (pusch) transmission based on an srs resource indicator (sri) associated with the first or second coreset pool index, in accordance with the interchanged association.
