a negative electrode material layer includes a negative electrode active material, the negative electrode active material includes graphite, and (d/d−1)�100%≤0.56% and 3.3600≤d≤3.3720 are satisfied; where dÅ is an interplanar spacing of (002) crystal plane of the negative electrode active material obtained by sintering the negative electrode material layer tested by an x-ray diffractometer, and dÅ is an interplanar spacing of the (002) crystal plane of the negative electrode active material in the negative electrode material layer tested by the x-ray diffractometer. the negative electrode plate of the electrochemical apparatus provided in this application has low swelling rate during cycling, so that the electrochemical apparatus also has low swelling rate during cycling.
