the present disclosure relates to an image display apparatus. the image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a display; an interface configured to exchange data with an external server or an external electronic device; and a signal processing device configured to extract emotion-based color scale information from an image frame of an input image, and to adjust white balance of the image frame based on the extracted information. accordingly, the image frame may be displayed with an emotion-based image quality.
