DISHWASHER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240341563 titled 'DISHWASHER

The abstract describes a dishwasher with a sorption drying device that includes a heater in a linear air flow path, allowing heated air to evenly reach the moisture absorbent without the need for a separate flow distribution means.

  • Linear air flow path with downward inclination angle
  • Heater in the air flow path
  • Air collides with bottom surface of moisture absorbent
  • Heated air introduced evenly to moisture absorbent
  • Minimized flow resistance

Potential Applications: - Household dishwashers - Commercial dishwashers

Problems Solved: - Even distribution of heated air to moisture absorbent - Minimized flow resistance

Benefits: - Improved drying efficiency - Simplified design - Energy efficiency

Commercial Applications: - Dishwasher manufacturers - Appliance retailers

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the linear air flow path improve drying efficiency? 2. What are the energy-saving benefits of this sorption drying device?

Frequently Updated Research: - Ongoing studies on improving sorption drying technology in dishwashers.

Original Abstract Submitted

a dishwasher includes a sorption drying device in which a heater is disposed in a linear air flow path extending in a downward inclination angle, at least a portion of air that has passed through the linear air flow path collides with a bottom surface of a moisture absorbent receiving portion and thus is introduced to a lower side of the moisture absorbent, so that a separate means for flow distribution is omitted, and heated air through the heater is evenly introduced to the moisture absorbent at a minimized flow resistance.
