CLEANER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CLEANER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240245277 titled 'CLEANER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CLEANER

The present disclosure pertains to a wet mop rag module for a cleaner, comprising a module housing, a water tank for water storage, at least one rotary cleaning unit for attaching a mop rag, and a steam generator for heating water from the tank. The steam generator includes a heating chamber with a flow path for moisture, a heater to provide heat, and an overheating shut-off device to prevent overheating by cutting off power to the heater when the chamber reaches a certain temperature.

  • Module housing
  • Water tank for water storage
  • Rotary cleaning unit for mop rag attachment
  • Steam generator for heating water
  • Heating chamber with flow path for moisture
  • Heater to provide heat
  • Overheating shut-off device to prevent overheating

Potential Applications: - Household cleaning - Commercial cleaning services - Industrial cleaning operations

Problems Solved: - Efficient heating of water for cleaning purposes - Prevention of overheating and potential hazards

Benefits: - Improved cleaning performance - Safety features to prevent accidents - Energy-efficient heating system

Commercial Applications: - Cleaning equipment manufacturers - Janitorial services companies - Facilities management companies

Questions about Wet Mop Rag Module: 1. How does the steam generator in the module work? The steam generator heats water from the tank to generate steam for cleaning purposes.

2. What safety features are included in the module? The module has an overheating shut-off device to prevent the heating chamber from reaching dangerous temperatures.

Original Abstract Submitted

the present disclosure relates to a wet mop rag module for a cleaner, the wet mop rag module including a module housing, a water tank configured to store water therein, at least one rotary cleaning unit to which a mop rag is coupled, and a steam generator configured to heat water supplied from the water tank, in which the steam generator includes a heating chamber having a flow path in which moisture flows, a heater configured to supply heat to the heating chamber, and an overheating shut-off device configured to cut off a supply of power to the heater when a temperature of the heating chamber is equal to or higher than a predetermined reference temperature, thereby preventing the heating chamber from being overheated.
