an embodiment relates to a method for operation of remote user equipment (ue) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: remote ue establishing a connection with first relay ue; the remote ue receiving, from the first relay ue, information notifying of a uu radio link failure (rlf); and performing a relay reselection or cell selection procedure on the basis of having received the information notifying of the uu rlf, wherein, on the basis of having received, from the first relay ue, information notifying that a uu link recovery has succeeded, the remote ue transmits, to reselected second relay ue, or a base station associated with cell selection, information notifying of falling back to a previous link.
