a display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area having a subpixel and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a driving transistor provided at the subpixel, a light emitting diode provided at the subpixel and including a first electrode, an emitting layer, and a second electrode, and a gate driving unit provided in the non-display area, wherein the gate driving unit includes a line portion including at least one signal line and a stage portion including at least one stage, wherein the stage is connected to the signal line or a gate line of the display area through a connection line and a connection pattern, and wherein the connection pattern is provided of a same material and on a same layer as the first electrode.
