disclosed is a display apparatus including: a display panel including a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, wherein the non-display area has a bendable area; a first backplate supporting the display area of the display panel; and a second backplate spaced apart from the first backplate and supporting a portion of the non-display area of the display panel, wherein the display panel includes: a substrate; an adhesive buffer layer disposed on the substrate and in an entirety of each of the display area and the non-display area; and first signal lines disposed on the adhesive buffer layer and extending across the bendable area, wherein the adhesive buffer layer is disposed on an upper surface of the substrate and in the bendable area.
