disclosed is a liquid crystal display (lcd) smart window configured such that a transparent lcd device is mounted in a double-glazed window. the lcd smart window includes an inner glass sheet located in an indoor space, an outer glass sheet spaced apart from the inner glass sheet by a predetermined gap and located so as to be exposed to the outside of a building, a transparent lcd device located in a space between the inner glass sheet and the outer glass sheet to display an image, a window frame supporting upper and lower surfaces and both side surfaces of the inner glass sheet and the outer glass sheet, and a light source secured to the window frame to emit light to at least one surface of the outer glass sheet.
