this application provides an interference avoidance method and a related apparatus. the method includes: a first device receives first indication information from a second device. the first indication information indicates a first geographic area, and the first geographic area overlaps with a geographic area covered by the first device, so that the first device performs interference avoidance in the first geographic area. this can effectively avoid interference, and improve resource utilization.
