a communication method and a communication apparatus. the method includes: a terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information indicates the terminal device to feed back a first parameter, the first parameter indicates a degree of crosstalk between a first reference signal and a second reference signal, the first reference signal and the second reference signal are transmitted on a first time domain resource, a first frequency domain resource, and a first space domain resource, the first reference signal is transmitted in a first polarization direction, the second reference signal is transmitted in a second polarization direction, and the first polarization direction and the second polarization direction are two mutually orthogonal polarization directions used for a polarization multiplexing mechanism.
