embodiments of this application provide a control method and an apparatus. the method includes: a radio frequency device sends first information to a control device. the first information indicates an enabling/disabling recommendation for at least one energy-saving feature. the radio frequency device receives an instruction from the control device. the instruction instructs to enable a first energy-saving feature and/or disable a second energy-saving feature, the first energy-saving feature includes at least one energy-saving feature that is recommended to be enabled in the first information, and the second energy-saving feature includes at least one energy-saving feature that is recommended not to be enabled in the first information. according to this application, more energy-saving gains can be obtained when a temperature difference is controlled to be stable and hardware reliability of the radio frequency device is ensured.
