the technology of this application relates to a communication method and a related apparatus. the method in embodiments of this application includes receiving, by a first device, first indication information from a second device, where the first indication information indicates the first device to enable or disable an intelligent channel access function, and the intelligent channel access function is a function of accessing a channel based on a channel access decision output by a neural network. the method further includes enabling or disabling, by the first device, the intelligent channel access function based on the first indication information. it can be learned that the first device may enable or disable the intelligent channel access function based on the first indication information, to enrich channel access functions supported by the first device. this helps avoid a communication collision between the first device and another device, to improve communication quality of the first device.
