CONTROL DEVICE, CONTENT VIEWING CONTROL SYSTEM, MOVING OBJECT, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240303032 titled 'CONTROL DEVICE, CONTENT VIEWING CONTROL SYSTEM, MOVING OBJECT, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

The patent application describes a control device for a display device on a moving object, capable of switching between different display modes based on the number of seats in the vehicle.

  • The control device can obtain information about the display mode of the display device.
  • It can then control the zoning of the space within the moving object to output audio, based on whether the display mode is the first or second display mode.

Potential Applications: - This technology can be used in vehicles such as buses, trains, or airplanes to provide personalized audio experiences based on the display mode. - It can enhance the entertainment options for passengers by tailoring audio output to their specific seating arrangements.

Problems Solved: - Provides a solution for managing audio output in vehicles with different display modes. - Offers a way to optimize the audio experience for passengers based on their seating positions.

Benefits: - Improved audio experience for passengers in vehicles with varying display modes. - Enhanced customization and personalization of audio output based on seating arrangements.

Commercial Applications: "Control Device for Display Device on Moving Object" can be utilized in the automotive industry to enhance in-vehicle entertainment systems, providing a unique audio experience for passengers based on their seating locations. This technology can also be integrated into public transportation systems to offer a more personalized audio experience for commuters.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the control device differentiate the zoning of space based on the display mode of the display device? 2. What are the potential cost implications of implementing this technology in vehicles?

Original Abstract Submitted

provided is a control device for a display device installed on the moving object. the display device includes a first display mode in which content is displayed without dividing a display region, and a second display mode in which the display region is divided into a first display region for a first seat installed in the moving object and a second display region for a second seat within the moving object for displaying. the control device includes an obtaining module which obtains information indicating a display mode of the display device; and a control module which performs zoning of a space within the moving object to output audio, wherein the control module differentiates the zoning depending on whether the display mode of the display device is the first display mode or the second display mode.
