Abstract: a cathode recovery apparatus includes separation means that separates an electrode body in a pulled-out state into a cathode and a negative electrode laminate, that includes: a holding section holding an extension region where a first object to be separated, being one of the cathode and the negative electrode laminate, extends further in a pulled-out direction than a second object to be separated, being another one of the cathode and the negative electrode laminate, the holding section holding the extension region so that a head end portion of the second object is included in the electrode body; a pressing section pressing the electrode body from a side of the first object in a thickness direction at upstream of the holding section in the pulled-out direction, and peels off a head end portion of the second object; and a receiving section receiving the peeled off second object.
