a request for content associated with at least one of a real-world event or a geographic area is received. a set of media items each including content associated with the real-world event or the geographic area is identified of media items of the content sharing service. a location of a respective client device that generated the content is determined for each respective media item of the set of media items. the set of media items and, for each of the set of media items, an indication of the determined location of the respective client device that generated the content of the respective media item are provided for presentation to a user in accordance with the request for content.
