Autogenerated Language Model Notifications - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240184994 titled 'Autogenerated Language Model Notifications

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes a system for autogenerated language model notifications in a device management system associated with network-connected devices.

  • The prompt manager obtains metadata from the network and integrates it into templated prompts to create personalized notifications for users.
  • The instantiated prompt is sent to a language model to generate a language model output, which is then used to provide notifications to users.
  • This system aims to improve user experience and facilitate proactive management of network-connected devices.

Potential Applications

This technology could be applied in smart home systems, IoT devices, and network management solutions.

Problems Solved

This technology solves the problem of providing personalized and timely notifications to users of network-connected devices.

Benefits

The benefits of this technology include improved user experience, increased user engagement, and proactive device management.

Potential Commercial Applications

Potential commercial applications of this technology include smart home automation systems, IoT device management platforms, and network monitoring solutions.

Possible Prior Art

One possible prior art could be systems that use machine learning algorithms to generate personalized notifications for users based on data from network-connected devices.

Original Abstract Submitted

this document describes systems and techniques directed at autogenerated language model notifications. in aspects, a device management system associated with a network of network-connected devices includes a prompt manager. the prompt manager obtains metadata associated with the network and integrates at least portions of data from the metadata into one or more templated prompts to create an instantiated prompt. the instantiated prompt can be transmitted to a language model to generate a language model output. the prompt manager may then provide, based on the language model output, a notification to a user associated with at least one network-connected device. through such a technique, the prompt manager can improve user experience and facilitate user proactiveness managing their network of network-connected devices.
