AUGMENTED REALITY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS RELATED THERETO - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240242267 titled 'AUGMENTED REALITY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS RELATED THERETO

The abstract of the patent application describes a method for managing augmented reality social media platforms by virtually mapping real-world defined areas to include virtual subdivisions that can be leased to users based on their affiliation with real-world organizations.

  • Virtual subdivisions are created in real-world defined areas.
  • Users can be assigned virtual leaseholds based on their affiliation with real-world organizations.
  • Virtual leaseholds can be reassigned to different virtual subdivisions.
  • Real-world offerings associated with virtual leaseholds can be reallocated to different virtual leaseholds.

Potential Applications: - Augmented reality social media platforms - Virtual real estate management - Location-based marketing

Problems Solved: - Efficient management of virtual subdivisions in augmented reality environments - Targeted allocation of virtual leaseholds based on user affiliation - Reallocation of real-world offerings to optimize user experience

Benefits: - Enhanced user engagement in augmented reality social media platforms - Improved targeting of virtual leaseholds for marketing purposes - Dynamic reallocation of resources for better user experience

Commercial Applications: - Augmented reality advertising platforms - Virtual real estate marketplaces - Location-based services for businesses

Original Abstract Submitted

augmented reality social media platforms and methods of managing the same in which a real-world defined area is virtually mapped to include a plurality of leasable virtual subdivisions each corresponding to a real-world subdivision of the real-world defined area. a platform may assign a virtual leasehold corresponding to a virtual subdivision of a plurality of leasable virtual subdivisions to a user of the platform. in one aspect the ability to assign a virtual leasehold to a user is based on the user's affiliation or non-affiliation with a real-world organization controlling the corresponding real-world defined area. in another aspect a virtual leasehold may be reassigned to a different virtual subdivision and/or a real-world offering associated with a virtual leasehold may be reallocated to a different virtual leasehold.
