METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR DETERMINING NAVIGATION PATH - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240133699 titled 'METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR DETERMINING NAVIGATION PATH
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a method, electronic device, and computer program product for determining a navigation path based on a communication resource heat database.
- Acquiring source and destination geographical locations from a user side device.
- Determining a navigation path based on the communication resource heat database.
- Sending the determined navigation path to the user side device.
Potential Applications
This technology could be applied in various navigation systems, such as GPS devices, mobile apps, and online mapping services.
Problems Solved
1. Efficiently determining the best navigation path based on communication resource heat. 2. Improving user experience by providing optimal routes with good signal quality and remaining resource capacity.
Benefits
1. Enhanced navigation accuracy and efficiency. 2. Real-time updates on communication resource availability. 3. Improved user satisfaction with navigation services.
Potential Commercial Applications
Optimized navigation systems for transportation companies, delivery services, and location-based service providers.
Possible Prior Art
One possible prior art could be traditional GPS navigation systems that do not take into account communication resource heat for determining navigation paths.
Unanswered Questions
The method should have a mechanism to dynamically adjust the navigation path based on real-time changes in communication resource heat.
What types of communication resources are considered in the communication resource heat database?
The database should specify the types of communication resources, such as Wi-Fi, cellular networks, and satellite signals, that are included in the heat calculations.
Original Abstract Submitted
embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, an electronic device, and a computer program product for determining a navigation path. the method may include acquiring a source geographical location and a destination geographical location received from a user side device. in addition, the method may include determining a navigation path from the source geographical location to the destination geographical location based on a communication resource heat database, the communication resource heat database including at least a plurality of geographical regions associated with the navigation path and communication resource heat of each of the plurality of geographical regions, the communication resource heat including signal quality, signal strength, and a remaining resource capacity. then, the method may include sending the determined navigation path to the user side device.
