DYNAMIC PUCCH REPETITION INDICATION: abstract simplified (18018538)
Methods and devices for wireless communication are described in this abstract. The apparatus, which can be a user equipment (UE) or a base station, receives a radio resource control (RRC) message from the base station. This message includes information about the number of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) repetitions. The apparatus also receives downlink control information (DCI) from the base station, which indicates a codepoint associated with the number of PUCCH repetitions. The codepoint includes at least one PUCCH resource indicator (PRI) that is linked to a PUCCH resource in one or more PUCCH resource sets. The PRI corresponds to the number of PUCCH repetitions. The apparatus then transmits a PUCCH to the base station using the PUCCH resource from the specified PUCCH resource sets. The transmitted PUCCH aligns with the indicated number of PUCCH repetitions.
