SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR COMMUNICATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240206431 titled 'SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR COMMUNICATION

The patent application describes devices, systems, and methods for training both non-humans and humans to communicate more effectively than previously possible.

  • The system for communicating with an animal includes a plurality of tiles connected to each other, each tile having buttons, an infrared transmitter and receiver assembly, a microprocessor, a speaker, and an audio amplifier.
  • Information is transferred between tiles using the infrared transmitter and receiver assembly, allowing the animal to push buttons on the tiles to emit sounds from the speaker.
  • The sound button consists of a shell, a switch connected to a printed circuit board, a button cap assembly with a recess and a hole, and a speaker facing the button cap.

Potential Applications: - Animal training and communication - Interactive games for animals - Behavioral studies and research

Problems Solved: - Enhancing communication between animals and humans - Providing a more interactive and engaging training method - Facilitating research on animal behavior and cognition

Benefits: - Improved communication skills for animals - Enhanced engagement and interaction in training sessions - Increased understanding of animal behavior and cognition

Commercial Applications: Title: Interactive Animal Communication System This technology can be used in pet training facilities, zoos, research institutions, and entertainment venues to enhance communication with animals and provide interactive experiences for both animals and humans.

Prior Art: Prior research in animal training and communication devices may include studies on animal cognition, language learning in animals, and interactive systems for animal-human interaction.

Frequently Updated Research: Researchers are continually exploring new methods and technologies to improve communication between animals and humans, as well as to deepen our understanding of animal behavior and cognition.

Questions about the Interactive Animal Communication System: 1. How does this system differ from traditional animal training methods? 2. What are the potential long-term effects of using this technology on animal behavior and communication skills?

Original Abstract Submitted

devices, systems, and methods for training both non-humans and humans to communicate more effectively than previously possible. in one aspect a system for communicating with an animal comprises a plurality of tiles operably connected to one another, each tile comprising one or more buttons, an infrared transmitter and receiver assembly, a microprocessor, a speaker controlled by the microprocessor, and an audio amplifier connected to the speaker, where the infrared transmitter and receiver assembly transfers information to and from at least one other of the plurality of tiles, and where when one of the one or more buttons are pushed by the animal, the speaker emits a sound that can be heard through the speaker by the animal. the sound button may comprise a shell, a switch operably connected to a printed circuit board (“pcb”), a button cap assembly operably coupled to the shell, the button cap assembly comprising a button cap having at least one recess, the at least one recess having a hole; and a speaker facing toward the button cap.
