a display apparatus comprises at least one light source, a light guiding unit configured to have an incident surface on which light from the at least one light source is incident, an emitting surface from which light from the at least one light source is emitted, and at least one intermediate surface positioned between the incident surface and the emitting surface, and a light shielding unit configured to have an inner wall surface facing a side of at least a part of the at least one intermediate surface and at least one continuous surface facing a side of the emitting surface and continuing from the inner wall surface in a direction in which the at least one continuous surface extends away from the at least one intermediate surface.
