PROVISION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240259528 titled 'PROVISION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR SAME

The patent application describes a virtual space provision system with a shared service avatar that manages audio sharing between users in a virtual space.

  • The system controls audio sharing between multiple user avatars in the virtual space.
  • When a user avatar contacts the shared service avatar, audio sharing with other users is temporarily canceled.
  • The sharing state management unit ensures that audio sharing is controlled based on user interactions in the virtual space.

Potential Applications: - Virtual meetings and conferences - Online gaming platforms - Virtual classrooms and training sessions

Problems Solved: - Efficient management of audio sharing in virtual environments - Enhanced user experience during interactions in virtual spaces

Benefits: - Improved communication and collaboration in virtual settings - Enhanced user engagement and interaction - Streamlined audio sharing controls for a better user experience

Commercial Applications: Title: Virtual Collaboration Platform with Enhanced Audio Sharing Controls This technology can be utilized in virtual collaboration platforms, online gaming systems, and educational tools to enhance user interactions and communication. The market implications include increased user engagement, improved virtual experiences, and potential for new revenue streams.

Prior Art: Further research can be conducted in the field of virtual reality systems, audio sharing technologies, and avatar interactions in virtual environments to explore prior art related to this technology.

Questions about Virtual Space Provision System with Shared Service Avatar: 1. How does the system differentiate between user avatars for audio sharing control? 2. What are the potential security implications of audio sharing controls in virtual spaces?

Original Abstract Submitted

a virtual space provision system providing a virtual space and a shared service avatar capable of receiving contact from a user avatar in the virtual space has a sharing state management unit that controls audio sharing between a plurality of users respectively operating a plurality of user avatars if a plurality of user avatars operated by users are present in a virtual space. in response to detection of contact with the shared service avatar by a user avatar of the plurality of user avatars, the sharing state management unit performs control such that audio sharing with the plurality of users via a user avatar which has come into contact with the shared service avatar is temporarily canceled.
