polycarbonate compositions comprising one or more additives selected from the group consisting of benzofuranone stabilizers of formula i, wherein r, r, r, rand rare each independently hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, c-calkyl, c-calkenyl, c-calkynyl, c-cphenylalkyl, phenyl, c-ccycloalkyl, c-cgalkoxy, c-calkylamine, di(c-calkyl)amino, c-calkanoyloxy, c-calkanoylamino, c-calkenoyloxy, c-calkanoyloxy interrupted by one to three —o—, —s—, —nh— or —n(c-calkyl)-, wherein c-calkyl, c-calkenyl, c-calkynyl, c-cphenylalkyl, phenyl, c-ccycloalkyl, c-calkoxy, c-calkylamine, di(c-calkyl)amino, c-calkanoyloxy, c-calkanoylamino, c-calkenoyloxy and interrupted c-calkenoyloxy are unsubstituted or substituted by one to three groups selected from halogen, hydroxy, thiol, amino, c-calkylamino, di(c-calkyl)amino and c-calkyl.
