AUDIBLE USER INTERFACE AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING AND TRACKING FINANCIAL ASSETS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240212656 titled 'AUDIBLE USER INTERFACE AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING AND TRACKING FINANCIAL ASSETS

The patent application describes a system that audibly conveys financial information using a computerized system. The system associates financial data with a musical instrument, generating audio data in musical notes corresponding to changes in the variable parameter.

  • The system receives financial information with a variable parameter that changes over time.
  • It associates the financial data with a musical instrument.
  • The system determines musical notes based on the values of the variable parameter during a time period.
  • It generates audio data associated with the musical notes.
  • The system automatically readjusts the tonal range of the musical notes or changes the associated musical instrument when necessary.

Potential Applications: - Financial institutions for real-time data analysis - Educational tools for teaching financial concepts through music - Entertainment industry for creating unique soundtracks based on financial data

Problems Solved: - Making financial information more engaging and accessible - Providing a novel way to interpret and analyze data - Enhancing the auditory experience of financial information

Benefits: - Improved understanding of financial data through auditory cues - Engaging and entertaining presentation of financial information - Creative and innovative approach to data visualization

Commercial Applications: Title: "Financial Data Auditory Analysis System" This technology can be used in financial institutions for real-time data analysis, educational tools for teaching financial concepts, and the entertainment industry for creating unique soundtracks based on financial data. The system offers a creative and engaging way to interpret and analyze financial information, making it more accessible and entertaining for users.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the system determine the musical notes based on the values of the variable parameter? 2. What are the potential challenges in implementing this system in real-world financial applications?

Original Abstract Submitted

a system for audibly conveying financial information using a computerized system. the system receives financial information includes a variable parameter which varies over a time period. the at least one processor associates the received financial data with a musical instrument. it also determines, for a plurality of values of the variable parameter during a time period, a plurality of musical notes based on the values of the variable parameter, and generates audio data associated with the plurality of musical notes corresponding to the changes in the variable parameter. when the processor determines whether any of the plurality of generated musical notes for the associated musical instrument are at the highest or lowest range, and automatically readjust the tonal range of the musical notes or changes the associated musical instrument. the system-generated audio data is audibly reproduced in musical notes of the associated musical instrument.
