An execution environment of a game application is enabled to be changed without hindrance to the operation of the game application. An input device has function buttons. A processor of the input device receives operations on the function buttons, and changes the execution environment of the game application. The function buttons are disposed at a position lower than the upper surface of a right portion of the input device and the upper surface of a left portion thereof.
