ANTENNA AND ANTENNA SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18676807 titled 'ANTENNA AND ANTENNA SYSTEM
The abstract describes an antenna and antenna system that can reduce device costs and base station space by being functionally equivalent to multiple conventional antennas. The antenna includes a first reflective surface and N feeds, where N is an integer greater than 1. The N feeds are placed on the first reflective surface, which is divided into N areas corresponding to the N feeds, with each area reflecting a beam radiated by a specific feed.
- Antenna system that reduces costs and space by acting as multiple conventional antennas
- Includes a first reflective surface and N feeds, where N is greater than 1
- N feeds are placed on the reflective surface, with each area reflecting a beam from a specific feed
- Functionally equivalent to multiple conventional antennas
- Efficient use of space and resources
Potential Applications: - Telecommunications - Satellite communication - Radar systems
Problems Solved: - Reducing device costs - Saving base station space - Improving antenna efficiency

Commercial Applications: Title: Cost-Effective Antenna System for Telecommunications Industry This technology can be used in telecommunications infrastructure, satellite communication systems, and radar applications. It offers a cost-effective solution for companies looking to optimize their antenna systems and save on space.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does this antenna system compare to traditional antennas in terms of performance and cost? 2. What are the specific industries that can benefit the most from this innovative antenna system?
Original Abstract Submitted
Embodiments of this application provide an antenna and an antenna system. As the antenna is functionally equivalent to a plurality of conventional antennas, device costs and base station space occupied by the antenna can be reduced. The antenna includes a first reflective surface and N feeds, where N is an integer greater than 1. The N feeds are disposed on the first reflective surface, the first reflective surface includes N areas, the N areas are in one-to-one correspondence with the N feeds, and each area is used to reflect a beam radiated by a corresponding feed.
