ELECTRIC WORK VEHICLE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18667280 titled 'ELECTRIC WORK VEHICLE

The abstract describes an inverter with an exterior case housing an inverter circuit on a substrate. The case includes a box-shaped body with an opening, a bottom plate, a peripheral wall, and a lid for opening and closing the opening. Stopping portions on the bottom plate fix the substrate, while reinforcing ribs are present on the peripheral wall and lid.

  • Substrate stopping portions on the bottom plate fix the substrate securely.
  • Reinforcing ribs on the peripheral wall and lid provide structural strength to the case.
  • The case design allows for easy access to the inverter circuit.
  • The inverter is protected within a sturdy and well-designed exterior case.
  • The design ensures efficient operation and longevity of the inverter.

Potential Applications: - Industrial machinery - Solar power systems - Electric vehicles

Problems Solved: - Protection of the inverter circuit - Secure fixation of the substrate - Structural integrity of the exterior case

Benefits: - Enhanced durability - Easy access for maintenance - Improved safety for the inverter circuit

Commercial Applications: Title: "Durable Inverter with Secure Housing for Industrial and Renewable Energy Applications" This technology can be used in various industries such as manufacturing, renewable energy, and transportation for efficient power conversion and management.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the design of the exterior case contribute to the longevity of the inverter? - The design of the exterior case with reinforcing ribs and secure substrate fixation ensures the inverter's durability and protection. 2. What are the potential applications of this inverter technology in the renewable energy sector? - This inverter technology can be used in solar power systems and other renewable energy applications for efficient power conversion and management.

Original Abstract Submitted

An inverter includes an exterior case housing a substrate provided with an inverter circuit. The exterior case includes a rectangular box-shaped case body with an opening above a space surrounded by a bottom plate portion and a peripheral wall portion of the case body, and a case lid operable to open and close the opening. Substrate stopping portions to fix the substrate are provided on an upper surface of the bottom plate portion. Also, reinforcing ribs are provided on an outer surface of the peripheral wall portion of the case body and on an inner surface of the case lid.
