REFRIGERATOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18650974 titled 'REFRIGERATOR

The abstract describes a patent application for a refrigerator with an inner case, outer case, and insulation between them. The inner case has an insulation contact surface with a larger contact area to increase adhesion to the insulation.

  • Simplified Explanation:

- The patent application is for a refrigerator design with improved insulation adhesion. - The inner case has a specially designed insulation contact surface to enhance insulation adhesion.

  • Key Features and Innovation:

- Inner case with insulation contact surface. - Larger contact area for increased adhesion. - Enhanced insulation performance.

  • Potential Applications:

- Household refrigerators. - Commercial refrigeration units. - Industrial cooling systems.

  • Problems Solved:

- Improved insulation adhesion. - Enhanced energy efficiency. - Better temperature control.

  • Benefits:

- Energy savings. - Reduced heat loss. - Longer-lasting refrigeration units.

  • Commercial Applications:

- Energy-efficient refrigerators for homes. - Commercial refrigeration units for businesses. - Industrial cooling systems for large facilities.

  • Questions about Refrigerator Insulation:

1. How does the larger contact area on the insulation contact surface improve adhesion? - The larger contact area allows for better adhesion between the inner case and the insulation, resulting in improved insulation performance.

2. What are the potential energy savings associated with this innovation? - The enhanced insulation adhesion can lead to reduced heat loss and improved energy efficiency in refrigeration units.

Original Abstract Submitted

A refrigerator includes an inner case having a storage compartment therein, an outer case coupled to an outer side of the inner case, and an insulation filled between the inner case and the outer case. The inner case includes an insulation contact surface in contact with the insulation, and the insulation contact surface having a contact area with the insulation larger than other areas of the inner case thereby increasing an adhesion to the insulation.
