A cut-off saw including a housing, a support arm coupled to and extending from the housing in a first direction, a cutting wheel supported by the support arm, a rear handle extending from the housing in an opposite, second direction, a motor disposed in the housing, a battery pack configured to power the motor, and a battery receptacle defined by the housing in which the battery pack is receivable. The battery pack is positioned between the cutting wheel and the rear handle. The cut-off saw also includes a battery cover coupled to the housing. The battery cover is selectively moveable between a closed position, in which the battery pack is enclosed by the battery receptacle and the cover, and an open position, in which the battery pack is accessible.
