Original Abstract Submitted

This aerosol generating system including a tubular member that has an opening into which an aerosol generating base material containing an aerosol source can be inserted; and a heating unit. The tubular member has a bottom wall that closes at least a portion of an end section on the opposite side of the opening, and the heating unit, which is configured in a planar shape, is folded along a boundary portion of an outer surface of the bottom wall of the tubular member and an outer surface of a side wall of the tubular member, and is disposed along the outer surface of the bottom wall of the tubular member and the outer surface of the side wall of the tubular member.
