COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18622006 titled 'COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

The communication method described in the patent application involves processing two parameters received from a network device to determine an initial slot for the transmission of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) with a configured grant. The method includes performing the transmission of the PUSCH based on the initial slot.

  • The method processes a first parameter and a second parameter received from a network device.
  • Based on these parameters, an initial slot for the transmission of a PUSCH with a configured grant is determined.
  • The method involves performing the transmission of the PUSCH with the configured grant based on the initial slot.
  • The parameters can be a quantity P of available slots in a configured grant periodicity, a quantity K of repetitions in a configured grant periodicity, and a quantity N of available slots in each repetition.
  • N is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and one transport block cyclic redundancy check code is carried in each repetition.

Potential Applications: - This technology can be applied in wireless communication systems to optimize the transmission of data over shared channels. - It can be used in 5G networks to improve the efficiency of uplink transmissions.

Problems Solved: - Efficient allocation of resources for uplink transmission in wireless communication systems. - Enhancing the performance of shared channels in high-speed networks.

Benefits: - Improved data transmission efficiency. - Enhanced network performance and reliability. - Optimal resource allocation for uplink transmissions.

Commercial Applications: Title: "Optimized Uplink Transmission Method for Wireless Networks" This technology can be utilized by telecommunications companies to enhance the performance of their 5G networks, providing faster and more reliable data transmission for users. It can also be integrated into network equipment and devices to improve overall network efficiency.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does this method improve the efficiency of uplink transmissions in wireless communication systems? 2. What are the key parameters that are considered for determining the initial slot for PUSCH transmission?

Original Abstract Submitted

A communication method includes processing, by a processor, a first parameter and a second parameter received from a network device. The communication method also includes determining based on the first parameter and the second parameter, an initial slot for transmission of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) with a configured grant. The communication method further includes performing transmission of the PUSCH with the configured grant based on the initial slot. The first parameter and the second parameter are any two of the following parameters: a quantity P of available slots in a configured grant periodicity; a quantity K of repetitions in a configured grant periodicity; and a quantity N of available slots in each repetition. N is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and one transport block cyclic redundancy check code is carried in each repetition.
