Positioning methods and apparatus are provided to implement high-precision positioning while a device is in a moving state can implement high-precision positioning. The positioning method includes receiving a first receive-transmit time difference and a displacement vector of a second device, and determining a location of a first device based on the first receive-transmit time difference, the displacement vector of the second device, and a second receive-transmit time difference. The method may be applied to the first device. The first device may determine a transmission distance of a reference signal between the two devices based on the first receive-transmit time difference and the second receive-transmit time difference, and may determine a relative displacement between the two devices based on the displacement vector of the second device.
