INTEGRATED CIRCUIT - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18607596 titled 'INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

The abstract describes an integrated circuit that detects the state of the power supply using a logic circuit.

  • Integrated circuit includes an output circuit that outputs an inspection signal.
  • Logic circuit is powered by a first power supply and outputs a result signal based on the inspection signal and the state of the first power supply.
  • Determination circuit is powered by a second power supply and determines the state of the logic circuit based on the inspection signal and the result signal.

Potential Applications: - Power supply monitoring in electronic devices - Fault detection in power supply systems - Circuit protection in case of power supply issues

Problems Solved: - Ensures the reliability of the integrated circuit by monitoring the power supply - Helps prevent damage to the circuit due to power supply issues

Benefits: - Increased reliability of electronic devices - Early detection of power supply problems - Enhanced circuit protection

Commercial Applications: Title: Power Supply Monitoring Integrated Circuit for Electronic Devices This technology can be used in various electronic devices such as smartphones, computers, and IoT devices to ensure the reliability and safety of the circuits.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the integrated circuit detect the state of the power supply? 2. What are the potential benefits of using this technology in electronic devices?

Original Abstract Submitted

Provided is an integrated circuit that detects the state of the power supply of the integrated circuit using a logic circuit. An integrated circuit includes an output circuit that outputs an inspection signal; a logic circuit that is supplied with power from a first power supply S and outputs a result signal based on the inspection signal and the state of the first power supply S in response to the inspection signal being input; and a determination circuit that is supplied with power from a second power supply S different from the power supply and determines the state of the logic circuit based on the inspection signal and the result signal respectively input from the output circuit and the logic circuit
