LAWN MAINTENANCE MACHINE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18601208 titled 'LAWN MAINTENANCE MACHINE

The patent application describes a lawn maintenance machine with various components such as wheels, a handle unit, a working unit, an electric motor, a fan, a housing, and a wall.

  • The machine has a pair of wheels that rotate on the ground for mobility.
  • A handle unit allows the user to grip the machine while in motion.
  • A working unit is designed to perform maintenance tasks on the ground.
  • An electric motor drives the working unit, providing power for its operation.
  • A fan, also operated by the electric motor, helps with cooling and ventilation.
  • The housing supports the working unit, electric motor, and fan, providing structure and protection.
  • A wall attached to the housing faces a connection opening for airflow facilitated by the fan.

Potential Applications: - Residential lawn maintenance - Commercial landscaping services - Groundskeeping for parks and recreational areas

Problems Solved: - Efficient lawn maintenance - Ease of use for the operator - Cooling and ventilation for the motor and components

Benefits: - Increased productivity in lawn care tasks - User-friendly design for operators - Improved longevity of the machine components

Commercial Applications: Title: "Innovative Lawn Maintenance Machine for Efficient Groundskeeping" This technology can be utilized by landscaping companies, property management firms, and municipal maintenance departments to streamline lawn care operations and enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the fan contribute to the functionality of the lawn maintenance machine?

The fan helps with cooling the electric motor and provides ventilation within the housing to prevent overheating.

2. What are the potential cost savings associated with using this lawn maintenance machine?

By increasing efficiency and reducing the need for manual labor, this machine can lead to cost savings in terms of time and resources for maintenance tasks.

Original Abstract Submitted

A lawn maintenance machine may include: a pair of wheels configured to rotate on a ground; a handle unit configured to be gripped by a user while the lawn maintenance machine is moving; a working unit configured to work on the ground; an electric motor configured to drive the working unit; a fan configured to rotate by operation of the electric motor; a housing configured to support the working unit and housing the electric motor and the fan; and a wall disposed outside the housing and attached to the housing. The housing may have a connection opening which connects an inside and an outside of the housing and through which air flows by a rotation of the fan. The wall may be disposed to face the connection opening.
