CONNECTION STRUCTURE, POWER CONVERSION DEVICE, AND MOVING OBJECT - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18596036 titled 'CONNECTION STRUCTURE, POWER CONVERSION DEVICE, AND MOVING OBJECT

The abstract describes a wiring connection structure with two terminal blocks on the upper surface of a PCU, arranged in a front-rear direction of a fuselage. The first and second cables connected to the terminal blocks extend in the same direction from the upper surface, with different heights for each terminal block.

  • The wiring connection structure includes two terminal blocks on the upper surface of a PCU.
  • The terminal blocks are arranged in a front-rear direction of a fuselage.
  • A first cable and a second cable are connected to the terminal blocks and extend in the front-rear direction from the upper surface.
  • The height of the first terminal block is different from the height of the second terminal block.

Potential Applications: - Aircraft wiring systems - Electrical connections in vehicles - Industrial machinery wiring

Problems Solved: - Efficient organization of wiring connections - Space-saving design - Simplified maintenance and repairs

Benefits: - Improved cable management - Enhanced accessibility for maintenance - Reduced risk of wiring errors

Commercial Applications: Title: Innovative Wiring Connection Structure for Aircraft and Vehicles This technology can be applied in the aviation industry for aircraft wiring systems, as well as in the automotive sector for vehicle electrical connections. The market implications include improved efficiency in wiring maintenance and repairs, leading to cost savings for companies.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the height difference between the terminal blocks impact the overall design efficiency? 2. What are the specific advantages of having the cables extend in the front-rear direction from the upper surface?

Original Abstract Submitted

A wiring connection structure includes a first terminal block and a second terminal block which are provided on an upper surface of a PCU and are arranged in a front-rear direction of a fuselage. A first cable and a second cable connected to the first terminal block and the second terminal block, respectively, extend in the front-rear direction of the fuselage from the upper surface. The height of the first terminal block is different from the height of the second terminal block.
