PREDICTIVE CENTER ALLOCATION DATA STRUCTURE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18591906 titled 'PREDICTIVE CENTER ALLOCATION DATA STRUCTURE

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes an apparatus that stores data entries in two different data structures and allows for efficient data retrieval and storage.

  • The apparatus includes a memory resource for storing data entries in a first data structure and a second data structure.
  • A processing device is coupled to the memory resource and is able to predict and alter address locations in the first data structure.
  • The processing device then determines equivalent address locations in the second data structure and writes the data entry to that location.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • Dual data structure storage system for efficient data management.
  • Predictive address location determination for faster data retrieval.
  • Automatic alteration of address locations for optimized storage.
  • Equivalent address location mapping for seamless data transfer between structures.

Potential Applications: The technology can be applied in:

  • Database management systems.
  • File storage systems.
  • Cloud computing platforms.

Problems Solved:

  • Slow data retrieval and storage processes.
  • Inefficient use of memory resources.
  • Difficulty in transferring data between different data structures.

Benefits:

  • Faster data retrieval and storage.
  • Optimized memory resource utilization.
  • Seamless data transfer between data structures.

Commercial Applications: Potential commercial uses include:

  • Data storage and management software.
  • Cloud computing services.
  • Database optimization tools.

Questions about the Technology: 1. How does the apparatus determine the predicted address location in the first data structure? 2. What are the advantages of using dual data structures for storing data entries?

Original Abstract Submitted

An apparatus includes a memory resource configured to store data entries in a data memory resource including a first data structure and a second data structure and a processing device coupled to the memory resource. The processing device is configured to determine a predicted address location in the first data structure, compare the predicted address location to at least one address threshold, alter the predicted address location to an altered predicted address location, determine an equivalent address location in a second data structure that is equivalent to the altered predicted address location, and write the data entry to the equivalent address location in the second data structure.
