A communication apparatus includes: a memory storing a program; and one or more processors configured to execute the program to: obtain information indicating that the communication apparatus has path information available; transmit, to a base station, a UEAssistanceInformation message including the information indicating that the communication apparatus has the path information available; receive, from the base station, a UEInformationRequest message; and transmit in response to reception of the UEInformationRequest message, to the base station, a UEInformationResponse message including the path information in a case where the communication apparatus has the path information available.
