TABLE SAW - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18582825 titled 'TABLE SAW

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes a table saw with a mechanism that allows the cutting blade to tilt along with the main body of the saw, moving the center of the blade downward and away from the table as the upper end of the blade moves closer to the table.

  • The table saw has a main body with a motor located below the table.
  • The cutting blade is connected to the motor and moves in an up-down direction through the table.
  • A guide mechanism allows the cutting blade to tilt along with the main body of the saw.
  • The guide mechanism moves the center of the cutting blade downward and away from the table as the upper end of the blade moves closer to the table.
  • The cutting blade can also be tilted to the right side opposite to the left side.

Potential Applications: This technology can be used in woodworking, carpentry, and other industries that require precise and angled cuts.

Problems Solved: This innovation solves the problem of limited cutting angles in traditional table saws, allowing for more versatile and accurate cuts.

Benefits: The benefits of this technology include increased precision, flexibility in cutting angles, and improved safety for users.

Commercial Applications: This technology could be valuable for manufacturers of woodworking tools, construction companies, and DIY enthusiasts looking for a more advanced table saw.

Original Abstract Submitted

A table saw has a table on which the workpiece is placed. The table saw has a main body located below the table and equipped with a motor. The table saw has a cutting blade connected to the motor and penetrating the table in an up-down direction. The table saw has a guide mechanism for tilting the cutting blade along with the main body with respect to the table. The guide mechanism moves the center of the cutting blade downward and away from the table as the upper end of the cutting blade is moved closer to the table, and to the right (second side) opposite to the left (first side) to which the upper end moves.
