METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SERVICE RECOVERY IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18581150 titled 'METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SERVICE RECOVERY IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK

The abstract describes a method implemented in a User Equipment (UE) for service recovery in a wireless communication network. It involves establishing connections with a network, transmitting service requests, receiving failure messages, and performing local deregistration based on the failure message.

  • Establishing a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a network via a first cell.
  • Transmitting a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) establishment request for a service from the first cell.
  • Receiving a PDU establishment failure message from the network based on location information of the UE.
  • Performing a local deregistration with the first cell based on the failure message.
  • Establishing a second RRC connection with the network via a second cell.

Potential Applications: - Mobile communication networks - Network service recovery systems - Wireless communication technologies

Problems Solved: - Efficient service recovery in case of connection failures - Seamless transition between network cells

Benefits: - Improved user experience in wireless communication - Enhanced network reliability and stability

Commercial Applications: Title: "Enhanced Service Recovery System for Wireless Networks" This technology can be utilized in mobile network operators, telecommunications companies, and IoT service providers to ensure uninterrupted service for users.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does this method improve the reliability of wireless communication networks? 2. What are the key advantages of performing local deregistration based on location information of the UE?

Frequently Updated Research: Stay updated on the latest advancements in wireless communication network protocols and technologies to enhance service recovery methods.

Original Abstract Submitted

A method implemented in a User Equipment (UE) for service recovery in a wireless communication network includes establishing a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) via a first cell corresponding to a network, transmitting, to the network, a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) establishment request for a service from the first cell using the first RRC connection, receiving, from the network in response to the PDU establishment request, a PDU establishment failure message based on at least location information of the UE, performing a local deregistration with the first cell based on the PDU establishment failure message, and establishing a second RRC connection with the PLMN via a second cell corresponding to the network.
