Network Nodes and Methods Therein for Event Monitoring - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18576214 titled 'Network Nodes and Methods Therein for Event Monitoring

The abstract describes a method in a Vertical Application Layer (VAL) server, involving transmitting a monitoring event subscription request to a Network Resource Management (NRM) server. The request includes identities of VAL users or VAL User Equipments (UEs) for event monitoring, along with a monitoring profile ID for the events to be monitored. The method also includes receiving a monitoring event subscription response from the NRM server.

  • Transmits monitoring event subscription request to NRM server
  • Request includes identities of VAL users or UEs and monitoring profile ID
  • Receives monitoring event subscription response from NRM server

Potential Applications: - Network resource management - Event monitoring in vertical application layers

Problems Solved: - Efficient event monitoring for VAL users and UEs - Streamlined communication between VAL and NRM servers

Benefits: - Enhanced monitoring capabilities - Improved network resource allocation - Better user experience in VAL applications

Commercial Applications: Title: Enhanced Network Resource Management for Vertical Applications This technology can be utilized in telecommunications, IoT, and cloud computing industries to optimize resource management and enhance user experience in vertical applications.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does this method improve event monitoring efficiency in VAL servers? 2. What are the key benefits of integrating this technology into network resource management systems?

Frequently Updated Research: Stay updated on the latest advancements in network resource management and event monitoring technologies to enhance the performance of VAL servers.

Original Abstract Submitted

The present disclosure provides a method () in a Vertical Application Layer, VAL, server. The method () includes: transmitting (), to a Network Resource Management, NRM, server, a monitoring event subscription request. The monitoring event subscription request contains: a list of identities, IDs, of one or more VAL users or VAL User Equipments, UEs, for which event monitoring is requested, or a VAL group ID of a group of one or more VAL users or VALUEs for which event monitoring is requested, and a monitoring profile ID corresponding to a list of one or more events to be monitored, or event details indicating a list of one or more events to be monitored. The method () further includes: receiving (), from the NRM server, a monitoring event subscription response as a response to the monitoring event subscription request.
