COIL WIRE MODULE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18574949 titled 'COIL WIRE MODULE

The abstract describes a coil wire module for a rotating electric machine, including coil wires provided in the core of the machine and a clip with elastic pieces that can pinch the connection ends of the coil wires together.

  • The coil wire module is designed to be integrated into the core of a rotating electric machine.
  • The clip in the module has elastic pieces that can change width and pinch the connection ends of the coil wires together.
  • This design ensures that the connection ends of the coil wires remain in contact with each other due to the elastic force of the clip.
  • The module provides a secure and reliable connection for the coil wires in the rotating electric machine.
  • By keeping the connection ends in contact, the module helps maintain the efficiency and performance of the electric machine.

Potential Applications: - Electric motors - Generators - Wind turbines

Problems Solved: - Ensures secure connection of coil wires in rotating electric machines - Prevents disconnection or damage to coil wires during operation

Benefits: - Improved reliability of electric machines - Enhanced performance and efficiency - Simplified maintenance and repair processes

Commercial Applications: Title: "Innovative Coil Wire Module for Rotating Electric Machines" This technology can be utilized in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy for the development of efficient and reliable electric machines.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the clip in the coil wire module ensure the connection ends of the coil wires remain in contact? 2. What are the potential cost savings associated with using this innovative coil wire module in electric machines?

Original Abstract Submitted

A coil wire module for a rotating electric machine, the core wire module including: a plurality of coil wires that are configured to be provided in a core of the rotating electric machine; and a clip having a pair of elastic pieces, wherein: the plurality of coil wires each have a connection end that is configured to be exposed from an end of the core, the clip is elastically deformable in a manner that changes a width of the pair of elastic pieces, and in a state where the pair of elastic pieces pinch together at least two of the connection ends of the plurality of coil wires, the at least two of the connection ends are kept in contact with each other by an elastic force of the clip.
