The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a display device that enable to accurately and easily recognize a shape and a pixel position of a display surface configured by multiple self-luminous display units. The information processing apparatus includes: a communication unit configured to receive metadata regarding attributes and positions of multiple self-luminous display units constituting a display surface configured to display a video image; and a recognition unit configured to recognize a shape and a pixel position of the display surface on the basis of the metadata of each of the display units. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a display controller that controls display of an LED display.
