COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18541065 titled 'COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes a method and apparatus for communication between terminal devices, where one terminal can determine information for demodulating two different data streams.
- First terminal apparatus can determine demodulation information for a common data stream and a private data stream.
- The first terminal apparatus can demodulate a signal on a first resource to obtain the common data stream, and then obtain the private data stream based on the common data stream and demodulation information.
Potential Applications
This technology could be applied in secure communication systems where a private data stream needs to be transmitted alongside a common data stream.
Problems Solved
This technology solves the problem of efficiently demodulating multiple data streams on the same resource without interference.
Benefits
The benefits of this technology include improved data transmission efficiency and security for private data streams.
Potential Commercial Applications
A potential commercial application of this technology could be in the development of secure communication systems for businesses or government agencies.
Possible Prior Art
One possible prior art for this technology could be existing methods for demodulating multiple data streams in communication systems.
Unanswered Questions
How does this technology handle interference between the common and private data streams?
The patent application does not provide details on how interference between the common and private data streams is managed.
What are the limitations of the first terminal apparatus in terms of the number of data streams it can handle simultaneously?
The patent application does not mention any limitations on the number of data streams that the first terminal apparatus can handle at once.
Original Abstract Submitted
This application provides a communication method and apparatus. According to the method, a first terminal apparatus can determine, based on second information, information that is in first demodulation information and second demodulation information and that is used to demodulate a first data stream, and determine information that is used to demodulate a second data stream. The first data stream is a common stream, and the second data stream is a private stream of the first terminal apparatus. The first terminal apparatus may first demodulate, based on the information that is used to demodulate the first data stream, a signal received by the first terminal apparatus on a first resource, to obtain the first data stream, and then may obtain the second data stream based on the first data stream, the information that is used to demodulate the second data stream, and the signal received on the first resource.
