SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING OIL MIST IN MACHINING APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18535739 titled 'SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING OIL MIST IN MACHINING APPARATUS

The patent application describes a system for forming an oil mist for lubrication machining, which includes various components such as a cooled oil storage device, an oil supply line, an indirect cooling device, an oil nozzle, and a direct cooling device.

  • Cooled oil storage device stores and maintains oil for lubrication and cooling at a preset temperature.
  • Oil supply line is heat-insulated and connected to the cooled oil storage device to supply oil.
  • Indirect cooling device forms an indirect cooling air of a first temperature equal to or less than the preset temperature to cool the oil supply line.
  • Oil nozzle injects the oil supplied from the cooled oil storage device through the oil supply line to form the oil mist.
  • Direct cooling device forms a direct cooling air of a second temperature lower than the first temperature and mixes it with the oil mist.

Potential Applications: - Industrial machining processes - Automotive manufacturing - Aerospace industry
