Original Abstract Submitted

A light emitting element and an amine compound for a light emitting element is provided. The light emitting element includes a first electrode, a second electrode on the first electrode, and at least one functional layer (e.g., hole transport layer) between the first electrode and the second electrode. The functional layer includes a tertiary amine compound represented by a specific chemical structure (i.e., Formula 1). The tertiary amine compound is configured so that the hole transport properties of the functional layer (e.g., hole transport layer) and the emission efficiency and lifetime of the light emitting element may be enhanced or improved.
